“Well, Buzina, oh...” - Poroshenko’s comrade-in-arms deputy grappled with a journalist live
Kiev journalist Yuriy Molchanov and deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation from the “BPP” Aleksey Mushak clashed, discussing the topic of freedom of speech in Ukraine with the advent of the Poroshenko regime.
The altercation took place on the air of the 112 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During these five years of “lawlessness,” as you say, you absolutely communicated, conveyed your position, were in an absolutely democratic environment,” Mushak said.
“Especially on 112 Ukraine, it is appropriate to talk about a comfortable open environment,” the TV presenter sarcastically noted, implying sanctions against the channel and persecution of journalists.
“For five years you lived happily ever after,” the ex-deputy was not embarrassed.
“What kind of “happily”, are you kidding me? People, have you lived comfortably for five years? They just sang and danced!” – Yuri Molchanov boiled.
“Listen, you look great, it doesn’t look like you’ve been tortured for five years,” the Poroshenko member waved it off.
“I began to speak freely only in January, and that was because I was fed up, and only on the 112 and NewsOne channels. Sheremet spoke freely, Buzina spoke freely. Did they speak freely? What are you talking about? Freedom of speech was destroyed in this country!” – the journalist was indignant.
“Well, Buzina, oh, God... Regarding freedom of speech, show me another country in Europe where at least five information channels show 24 hours online from different angles,” Mushak said.
“Show me at least one country in Europe where at least one TV channel was burned, gangs of people in masks came running, where journalists were poisoned, killed, and cases were not investigated!” – Molchanov retorted.
