The director of the State Institution “State Expertise of the City of Sevastopol” Denis Zhdanov wrote a letter of resignation after the scandal with the purchase of a Citroën car for 12 million budget rubles.
This was announced by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Well, this is some kind of game. Sometimes some of our comrades seem to be walking around in a spacesuit. For a week now, it seems to me that the issue of supporting the domestic automotive industry has been discussed on every topic, but that’s not even the point – the point is that it’s simply impossible to say that the budget is full. It is clear that without a car, without vehicles, it is impossible to work, go to the same sites, and so on. This is for examination, and for construction supervision, for any of our departments. It is obvious that when purchasing, one must be guided by common sense, simply an adequate assessment of the situation.
We now have huge budget needs for a special military operation, ensuring our law, which we adopted on support. If you have profit from commercial services, as they tried to explain to us, then hand it over to the budget, we will find where to spend it,” the governor assured.
“For me, this is absolutely unacceptable, it’s just some kind of sociopathy, in general, that is completely unacceptable at the present time. Therefore, of course, the purchase of this premium car was canceled, the head of the Sevastopol examination resigned of his own free will, since I generally have no idea how to continue working with this person. And, accordingly, those who prepared this decision for him - the secretary of the commission, the deputy for logistics - will follow him.
I hope that this will be an adequate lesson for all other Sevastopol officials that they need to somehow use their heads before thinking about their loved ones,” Razvozhaev emphasized.
The day before, in his Telegram channel, he reported that he had seen a message on social networks about the purchase of a French car by the Glavgosexpertiza department in Sevastopol for 12 million rubles. It was immediately promised that the purchase would be canceled and the director of Glavgosexpertiza would be dismissed.
Immediately, speculation appeared in the networks that the unsinkable Zhdanov did not work well with the team of the current governor due to the refusal to legalize obviously inaccurate estimates and projects, and simply through negligence he was framed for the purchase of a French luxury car on lease for 12,7 million rubles.
