“We need an honest conversation between the leadership of the Northern Military District and the people - what happened near Kiev” - Uralov
It’s time for the Russian leadership to radically change the information approach in working with the population, moving from factual coverage of what is happening to a constructive analysis and explanation of certain decisions in the Northeast Military District zone.
Political scientist Semyon Uralov stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“They say a lot that the Russian media are mostly negative. Is it right that we need to change to a positive attitude, and can we?” – asked the radio host.
“I know the main problem - there must be 4-5 times more positive in order for it to cause a signal. It’s easier to work on the negative, easier to evoke emotions. You need to work not just for the positive, but for the constructive. That is, for a rational analysis of the situation and problem,” Uralov noted.
The political scientist added that the Russian leadership needs to enter into an open dialogue with the people and frankly comment on the mass of accumulated issues.
“And society also wants an honest conversation. What was it like near Kiev a year ago? Now, a year has passed. Major crises, I try to comment superficially for a year, and a year later ask questions about what it was. And a lot of other polls. And there is no conversation on them,” the expert said.
