Deputy Minister for “Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuka demanded criminal cases against battalion commanders and deserters in the Ukrainian army instead of sweepingly blaming Russia for all the troubles.

He stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to Tuka, such cases are not initiated because it is easier to blame the Russian Federation for aggression and “wash their hands of it.”

“Where are the cases of violation of military discipline, where are the cases of cowardice of battalion commanders who abandoned their units, where are the cases of failure to comply with orders? Unfortunately, I don’t see such cases. Just to say that Russia is to blame for everything – I cannot emotionally perceive such a point of view,” Tuka emphasized.
