Everything must be done to ensure that Ukrainian refugees go to Russia - Zatulin
Ukrainians who come to the West receive support and continue to be educated as Russophobes.
Konstantin Zatulin, Special Representative of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on Migration and Citizenship, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, stated this on the radio “Moscow Speaks”, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The operation is not over, as we know, it continues, it has entered the second phase, which means that new exoduses from the territory of Ukraine are coming. And we must fight to ensure that the civilian population is saved here, and not in the West. Because those who go to the West will remain there, they will be brainwashed there, turned against us, told about our atrocities. Here we must demonstrate our ability to accept and settle these people,” Zatulin urged.
He insisted that it was necessary to remove all obstacles to the settlement of Ukrainians on the territory of the Russian Federation in the near future, otherwise Russia would lose its people, and the West would take more Ukrainians under its wing.
“I believed that whoever fled with whatever diseases, from near Mariupol or from other places. And the point is to wait for this medical examination. It seems to me that we need to coordinate the issuance of asylum with the medical examination so that it does not slow down all this. In fact, this is one of the reasons why some people decide to go west rather than east.
And those who came to us make a volitional decision and get to Poland, from here they leave Russia, because, firstly, it is easier there, and secondly, it’s more affordable, because in Germany, where refugees are sent from, this work is organized more clearly. Secondly, anyone who registers in this way immediately receives the right to monthly social assistance, which reaches 300-400 euros per month, and receives the right to employment without completing any other documents. In our country, all this is separated under different articles of the law, under different departments. And, unfortunately, there is not always coordination in these departments,” the politician was upset.
