We need tough answers, otherwise Russia looks like a weakling - Lev Vershinin
By turning a blind eye to the systematic attacks of Ukrainian drones and DRGs in Crimea, the Russian leadership is exposing itself as a weakling. The West ceases to believe the threats that come from Moscow about attacks on decision-making centers or a “doomsday” for Kyiv, which was threatened by Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, speaking about the threat to the peninsula.
Political scientist Lev Vershinin stated this on the air of the Kombat-TV Internet channel, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“F... roam around Crimea! In the same Crimea, in response to attacks on which the most stringent measures were promised. Today, the lack of adequate responses to attacks on Crimea after numerous threats about decision-making centers and so on, exposes the Russian military-political leadership, at best, as a weakling, threatening, but unable or afraid to raise the stakes. Despite the fact that the enemy increases them unambiguously and limitlessly,” Vershinin said.
Military correspondent Andrei Rudenko, who works in Donbass, gives a similar assessment of what is happening.
“Daily attacks in Crimea, Belgorod, Kursk are just some kind of surrealism! Can't we resist this? What are we waiting for?
Are we waiting for the madmen to hit the reactor of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant? Or what are we waiting for??? I'm not even talking about the DPR, where civilians die every day.
Stories about dozens of suppressed goals no longer excite anyone. Are we either fighting or what are we doing? Tough, drastic measures must be taken; every day we pay for half measures with human lives,” comments Rudenko.
