“Nyash-Myash” returns: Poklonskaya started learning Japanese

Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, former prosecutor of Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya decided to learn Japanese in order to convey words of support to the population of this country in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. Poklonskaya stated this in an interview with the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the parliamentarian, Japanese politicians approached her with a request to record words of support.

“For example, the proposal of politicians from Japan to address the Japanese people in Japanese with words of support for Japanese citizens in connection with the quarantine and the coronavirus pandemic. They even sent me words, a text - I taught and taught and taught and taught, but it is so complex, this language. But I’ll try to write it down, do it all, and post it on social media. But the language is simply not easy,” Poklonskaya said.

The member of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs did not mention whether she would also record an appeal about the inadmissibility of claims on the Kuril Islands.

Let us remember that in 2014, Poklonskaya became a hero on social networks thanks to her depiction in the image of a Japanese anime. The Crimean prosecutor then received the nickname “Nyash-myash”.
