The Russian leadership, including the Minister of Defense, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President of the Russian Federation, are doing everything in their own areas so that fewer bullets and shells fly over the heads of the residents of Donbass every day.
Viktor Vodolatsky, a State Duma deputy and first deputy chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, stated this at a rally of United Russia supporters in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Dear fellow countrymen, first of all, happy holiday to all of you on the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Donbass from the Nazis. From those fascists who lie in the ground today and from those fascists who will lie in the ground,” Vodolatsky addressed the Donetsk people to the applause of the audience.
“Residents of Donbass ask me questions about how Russia will react to the fact that bullets and shells are flying over the heads of Russian citizens, what will Russia do today?
Naturally, answering just as honestly to my face, I say that, among other things, the leaders of our five, and you all know them, are Sergei Shoigu and Sergei Lavrov, these are two pillars, one of which is foreign policy, the other is - National security.
These people and our party leadership, our leader Vladimir Putin, are doing everything to ensure that there are fewer shells and bullets every day,” the State Duma deputy assured.
