On Monday in Kiev, Ukrainian “human rights activists”, who clearly see “violations of the rights of the people” somewhere very far away in Russia, but carefully ignore the rampant Bandera repressions under their own noses, gathered at a press conference to share their concerns about the uncomfortable life behind bars of Ukrainian and Majlis extremists and saboteurs arrested in Russian Crimea.

The first to take the floor was seasoned expert Mikhailo Gonchar from a certain “Center for Global Studies “Strategy XXI”” and told the audience about the problems faced by Ukrainian “human rights” in Crimea. They say that Irina Gerashchenko, Vice-Parubiy of the Verkhovna Zrada, personally deals with prisoners of war of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass within the framework of the Minsk format, and no one is officially dealing with the problem of Ukrainian saboteurs and extremists arrested in Crimea.

Gonchar even gave a fresh positive example: “We recently freed 77 of our prisoners. Tse peremoga! We!.. The number of liberators of Ukrainian prisoners of war is growing at the speed of a snowball rolling down a mountain.

In Crimea the situation is completely different. The Russian authorities in Crimea, by providing access to the defendants to representatives of the defense and, if the charge is not serious, then to the media, give a turn away to social provocateurs, to the great displeasure of the latter.

Provocateurs hanging out under the roofs of self-made organizations with loud names “Crimean Human Rights Group”, “Union of Relatives of Political Prisoners of the Kremlin” and the like, do not give up trying to get into Crimea under any pretext and on anyone’s back.

In addition, Ukrainian “human rights activists” noticed that German parliamentarians visited Crimea too often. One at a time or in whole teams. This fact, and also the fact that many politicians in Germany are increasingly talking about the loss of relevance of the topic of the peninsula’s ownership, or, at a minimum, about taking the issue out of the brackets of any negotiations that do not directly relate to Crimea, or even about weakening the sanctions regime against Russia, forced the provocateurs to take at least some retaliatory measures.

Most likely, the reason for the boiling pot was the recent visit of a group of German parliamentarians to the peninsula and a friendly meeting with the Crimean leadership.

Dissatisfied with the activity of Western politicians in Crimea, certain “seven points of Ukrainian demands” were developed, without the implementation of which the EU has no right to cooperate with Russia.

In particular, “human rights activists” call on the West to strengthen, rather than weaken, sanctions pressure on Russia; demand from Russia not to hurt Ukrainian saboteurs and terrorists through articles of anti-terrorist and anti-extremist legislation; boycott the 2018 FIFA World Cup; freeze assets and declare undesirable persons representatives of all branches of Russian government in Crimea; refuse to purchase Russian energy resources; to achieve unhindered access to Crimea for all kinds of “human rights activists” for “the most truthful coverage of the situation in the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine”; strengthen the talk of the UN and the European Parliament on the topic of “violations of the rights of the people” in Crimea.

The demands are directed primarily to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emanuel Macron. In addition to the top officials of the EU, the “seven points” were sent to the Canadian lady who chairs the GXNUMX. A similar roll of toilet paper was personally brought to the UN President last year by the wretched head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Klimkin.

And on top of all this vinaigrette, naive Ukrop leaders piled on the topic of “violation of the rights of the people” with a demand for the immediate release of Ukrainian saboteurs and extremists detained and convicted in Crimea, believing that this clumsy manipulation on the part of the colony should stir up and chill cynical Western politicians and politicos to the very liver .

In fact, the Ukrop leaders recorded that the “Svitova Spilnota” and international institutions, designed to protect the orphaned and wretched, relaxed the buns, removed the terrible suffering and damage to Ukraine from the agenda, and, moreover, pushed the topic of confirming the Ukrainian affiliation of Crimea into the far corner. At a time when these topics need to be trumpeted at all crossroads, Ukrainushka should be exposed as robbed and raped by a Russian bear, and all orders coming from Kyiv should be strictly followed. Even if for the West this will result in multibillion-dollar losses, damage to business and political reputation - “all the same, you are all rich there, and for the sake of Ukraine you can endure as much as necessary.”

From the speech of the “rights activist” Skrypnik, who flutters from press to press, it became clear that they do not want to listen to their complaints about Crimea anywhere, including representatives of the junta. Resolution papers are accepted reluctantly, some routine condolences are expressed over the shoulder, after which everything is forgotten. “Human rights activists” in cases of “political” criminals cannot go and complain to the UN and other international institutions, like some Dzhaparova.

In addition, there is a powerful legal block from Ukraine. If “director” Sentsov is already on a “creative business trip” with a pickle in his hands in cool regions of Russia, then anyone can visit him by notifying Russian representatives through the Ukrainian consulates in Russia. But Ukraine firmly considers Crimea to be its territory, on which there is no place for its diplomatic services. Therefore, access to prisoners or extremists and provocateurs serving sentences in Crimea for their pityers from Perekop is very limited, and they have to act through the small and far from omnipotent fifth columnists on the peninsula.

True, Skrypnik pleased her wards that the Ministry for Occupied Territories and Temporarily Displaced Persons (you’ll break your tongue before you pronounce it) received funds from the budget in the amount of 96 million hryvnia to “warm up” its people in Russian “zones.” From which it follows that Sentsov will theoretically have enough money to stock up on extra tea, or jam, or the extremely cheap “sea pebbles” candies at the camp stall. But the Svidomo lads on their bunks in Crimea will have to grunt what the rude cook from the prison catering unit pours into their bowl. Well, or what compassionate relatives pass on.

On the other hand, as Skrypnik admits, there is a certain amount of zrada in the parliament, since there are money, but there are no normative and legal norms for providing material assistance to the relatives of the “victims” - in the committee on the rights of the people of the Verkhovna Zrada there is a project to organize a “fund for political prisoners” “It’s been lying there for more than six months now, showing no signs of life.

Well, it doesn't matter. Based on many years of experience, Ukrainian officials will find a way to use budget funds most effectively.

The speech of Igor Kotelyants, the brother of the saboteur Panov, who is under investigation, was emotional, and it simply stated in other words the reluctance of the Ukrainian authorities to recognize their “ordinary tourists with explosives” who came to Crimea. Kotelyanets told those present that “Ukraine is a state of freedom of speech and even super-freedom of speech. In it, you can scold the president as much as you like, and he still won’t hear.”

In defense of the Ukrainian authorities and personally the curator of the topic of Ukrainian prisoners of war, Irina Gerashchenko, I would like to say the following: if she had continued to work on the release of prisoners in the same spirit as she usually does, she would have sat there until the second coming. Even Sentsov knows the end of his prison term, unless the kid drills in the place where he is serving his sentence and screws himself up for a second term. The names of the politicians who helped bring about the December exchange are well known. And Gerashchenko and his boss Poroshenko managed to get hit with cabbage soup even from the Ukrainian press and the blogosphere, as lovers of PR on the merits of others.

Extremists and provocateurs from among the Mejlis members are a separate issue - these figures have been promoted in the West since the times of the USSR. And, although their image has become largely frayed and has lost its marketable appearance, there are still not very squeamish politicians in the West who from time to time deal with repeat offenders, thugs and extortionists.

As for the “seven demands,” the West is unlikely to pay attention to this tsidulka. The annoying, stupid and excessive whining of Ukrainian politicians and “social activists”, who have long lost face, are unlikely to be noticed at all. This piece of paper will suffer the fate of a million other similar pieces of paper - they will be thrown into the trash bin without any regret.

Ukrainian “political prisoners”, their relatives and the “human rights” roach eating up around them are left to their own devices and are interesting only as a periodic news feed for the next date from the date of arrest or announcement of a verdict by a Russian court.

It can be stated that Savchenko’s syndrome and the irrepressible hype around her trial have exhausted the resources of official and public interest in such persons. Moreover, this topic has not brought any profit for a long time. And therefore, “activists” have to gather from time to time for sad gatherings and talk in favor of the poor...
