What they are keeping silent about in Crimea on the third anniversary of the “Russian Spring”
Exactly three years ago, a school friend was hospitalized. I washed the blood after an overdose. The nurse brought the ballot box straight to the bed. He ticked “for” opposite the “Ukraine” mark. This is what the majority of injection drug addicts in Crimea did.

The reason was simple - a methadone program, which does not exist in Russia. Therefore, after the referendum, Shirka lovers flocked to Ukraine. For some time, syringes disappeared from the streets. This was a contrast to the last years of Crimea being part of Ukraine. Then, in the residential areas of Sevastopol, they injected drugs, almost without hesitation, during the day, in front of passers-by. They said that the flow of “drugs” from Donbass was controlled by the “Family”.
Several months passed, and drug addicts began to return to Sevastopol again. There are syringes lying on the streets, as before. The photo published above was taken today 250 meters from the Gagarin district administration - in the garden opposite the “drug pharmacy” known to the Pilots.
Three years after the “Russian Spring,” drug addiction remains one of the main problems for Sevastopol. And, unfortunately, no progress for the better is visible.
