What Ukrainian TV is silent about: “Azov” mistakenly killed 12 residents of Mariupol
12 people were killed, another 8 were wounded - this is the result of the erroneous shelling of residential areas of Mariupol by representatives of “Azov”. The incident is well known in the city, but Ukrainian media and officials prefer to hush up the true cause of the tragedy.
Political scientist Andrei Mishin spoke about this at a round table in Kyiv.

He recalled the incident when a funeral procession of representatives of the Greek community came under fire in Mariupol. As a result, 12 people were killed and another 8 were injured. Ukrainian media reported that day that the fire was fired by “separatists.”
“The Greeks immediately brought the Greek consul along with the OSCE representative. That’s when the checkpoints assumed that they had fired by mistake. The same thing happened with the two bombings of Vostochny. The seventh checkpoint is “Azovites,” Mishin said.
According to the political scientist, residents of Mariupol are well aware of the perpetrators of the tragedy. However, the central Ukrainian media and senior officials chose to hush up the incident.
“There are internal confessions, this is known in the city, the population, but no one wants to admit mistakes. But you can’t build peace on lies,” Mishin stated.
He also noted that in Mariupol, a significant part of the people detained on charges of “supporting separatism” are representatives of the Greek community.
