Obama offended Maidan activists by refusing to travel to Kyiv
Over the past eight years, Barack Obama has never visited Kiev, the capital of a state that does so much to advance American interests.
The chairman of the subcommittee on Euro-Atlantic cooperation and European integration of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Foreign Affairs, deputy Svetlana Zalischuk from the Poroshenko Bloc, stated this on air on the NewsOne TV channel.

In her opinion, this is precisely what clearly demonstrates the reason for Obama’s indecisiveness in helping Ukraine.
Zalischuk believes that lethal weapons could be provided to Ukraine if Hillary Clinton comes to power in the United States.
“I know she may be inclined to do this. Its position towards Ukraine will be more advanced, unlike the previous administration. One of the main problems with the Barack Obama administration is that he is the only US president who has never been to Ukraine in eight years,” Zalishchuk said.
