Obama lets slip: US must speed up training of ISIS fighters
American President Barack Obama made a serious reservation in his speech and promised to speed up the training of the extremist group "Islamic State", which caused a strong reaction from the international media and the entire society as a whole.

About it writes the German newspaper Die Zeit.
Earlier, Angela Merkel made a similar mistake when she told the world about “anti-Semitism as a civic duty of every German.”
The American leader's speech at a briefing on the issue of terrorism in the Middle East was interrupted by a violent reaction from those listening to the president's statement. "Washington will accelerate ISIS training," Obama said.
It later became known that the US President was referring to the training of the Iraqi army, and not the militants of the Islamic State. Such an oversight could cost Obama his reputation around the world, since America has been accused of sponsoring and supporting the extremist group “Islamic State” for several years now.
At the end of the briefing, the management of the White House website in the United States slightly edited the leader’s speech, placing the word ISIS in quotation marks, followed by the word “Iraq.” The government clearly tried to create the appearance that the president, in his figurative speech, meant that the United States would take part in training Iraqi government forces against terrorists.
Previously, information has repeatedly appeared in the media that the terrorist group “Islamic State” exists at the expense of US sponsorship funds. Experts believe that the formation of ISIS is a way to fight in Central Asia, the path from which leads to Russia, on the one hand, and to China, on the other.
Western journalists have also repeatedly expressed their opinion about ISIS, hinting that America is not fighting terrorists because they themselves supply them with weapons and finances, writes the Die Zeit newspaper.
In turn, the White House press secretary in America states: “The United States cannot take responsibility for the security of Iraq. We are not ready to once again sacrifice our strength and financial resources. The problem with Iraq is that their armed forces lack the will to fight."
