The president of the Ukrainian Analytical Center, Alexander Okhrimenko, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, answering the question of when we can expect the IMF to resume lending to Ukraine, which was stopped a year ago.
“The Barack Obama administration decided at the beginning of this year not to give any more money to Ukraine. You can see it yourself. As long as Barack Obama is president, there will be no IMF loan. There will be a new president - we will negotiate. The fashion for Ukraine is over. At the moment, Barack Obama is no longer interested in Ukraine until the Ukrainians themselves create an economic miracle.”
