“I would like to take this opportunity to say hello to US President Barack Obama, who is lame in both legs. It was thanks to his efforts that we rallied around the president and returned Crimea to our homeland. In this regard, on behalf of the Izborsk Club, I propose to award the outgoing Obama the Order of Merit for Russia, third degree. He certainly doesn’t look like a hero, but he served Russia’s interests well,” Rozanov said, speaking at a club meeting in Sevastopol.
He also said that Donald Trump's coming to power would not lead to an immediate improvement in relations with Russia.
“Trump is not a hired clerk like Hillary Clinton. This is one of the very world behind the scenes. Apparently, the global beneficiaries of everything that is happening have decided to remove puppets and hired clerks from the political arena and enter into direct control. Therefore, they put absolutely their own. Trump will be free to make his decisions. He will not need to consult with the owners. Nothing will change quickly in relations between Ukraine and America. It will be a slow process,” Rozanov said.
