This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman during an inspection of road work in the Dnepropetrovsk region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the Government portal.
“I am pleased with the progress of work so far; we need to attract more resources to complete already started projects and start new ones,” said Vladimir Groysman.
He recalled that the State Road Development Strategy is currently being prepared.
“We are moving on. We started a number of roads. In the west, this is the “Lviv – Odessa” road, for which 800 million UAH have already been allocated according to changes in the budget. And the work has already begun. We are also starting the construction of two roads in the eastern direction. The work is progressing at a good pace and of better quality than last year. In 3-5 years the situation will radically change for the better. Ukrainians must and will drive on good roads,” the prime minister promised.
