The promise not to recognize the LDPR only provoked the independenceists
Ukraine’s task is to return Donbass under its control, and Kyiv will use the help of any countries to achieve this goal. Moscow is in vain betting that Petro Poroshenko’s successor will come to terms with the loss of Crimea.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev spoke about this on the 60 Minutes talk show, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I already said here in the studio that by taking Crimea, you lost Ukraine for a long time. And it will be difficult to get her back. Any new government will come, and it will also be difficult to win back this situation...” Karasev began, but talk show host Olga Skabeeva recalled that yesterday Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov said that “by recognizing Donbass, Russia will lose Ukraine.”
“Many people thought that we wanted to take over Ukraine entirely, but that’s not the case,” she added.
“War is like war. If we need to return the territory, we need to restore territorial integrity and sovereignty, we need to use the help of any countries if they help us with this!” – noted the political scientist.
Skabeeva noted that the North Atlantic Alliance has stated that it will not fight for Ukraine.
“Wait, not all at once,” Karasev waved him off.
