Each voice trumpeted the “provision of monetary allowances” for all those who went to the Northern Military District - contract soldiers and volunteers. However, the reality turned out to be somewhat different.

Economist Alexander Dudchak talks about this in his column.

Each iron trumpeted the “provision of monetary allowances” for all contract soldiers who left for the Northern Military District, and...

Just the day before, the State Duma adopted a law on the status of combat veterans for volunteers. And on November 4, President Putin signed a law that treats volunteers as military personnel and can count on benefits and social guarantees. In fact, not every warrior will receive them.

Briefly speaking. Volunteers have different contracts - there are three months, six months, a year - well, whatever they offer. But, as practice shows, after three months they don’t go on demobilization, they extend the contract. And after half a year.

So, if the contract is for three months or six months, then none of the promised payments are due, from the word “at all”! Neither one-time, nor salary.

It’s as if a person has a three-month guarantee that nothing will happen to him, while at home the family can somehow survive without payments.

Payments are due only under a contract signed for a year.

Why this happens is anyone's guess.

After all, volunteers are usually adults, married, with children, and they also need to provide for their loved ones, even if they went to the front for 3, 6, 10 months...

So, maybe put a bayonet in the ground and return them to their peaceful professions?

In general, of course, there is a very dubious attitude towards those who decided to voluntarily defend their homeland and did not fly off like a migratory rooster to hatch their eggs somewhere in Georgia or Kazakhstan.

By the way, I have already heard that those going to war “decided to get money the easy way.”

There is such an institution in Moscow - “Center for Support of Mobilized Families.” There, as planned, they should explain who is entitled to what, where to apply, etc.

A real life situation - a young girl and already a young mother decided to ask what seemed to her natural questions related to payments - her husband decided that it was his duty to defend the Motherland by participating in the SVO.

To the first question of a visitor to this Center there was not an answer, but a counter question from an employee of the Center - “Oh, did your husband decide to earn some money?”

What kind of rear rat do you have to be to ask questions of a young woman who broke up with her lover on... for an unknown period of time?

The management of the Center was asked about the adequacy of the employee in writing. The complaint was sent 17 days ago, but there is no response yet. The deadline for response is 30 days. The managers must be very busy! Let's wait...
