In the coming days, an exchange of detainees may take place between Russia and Ukraine.
TASS reports that Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the political council of the Ukrainian party “Opposition Platform - For Life,” said this on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The exchange should take place in the coming days. This is a very positive moment,” said the Ukrainian politician.
According to him, the negotiation process on this issue is going well, although he did not name a specific date for the upcoming exchange. At the same time, Medvedchuk clarified that the final sanction for the exchange will have to be given by the presidents of Russia and Ukraine.
