Over the course of four months of a military special operation in Ukraine, Russian citizens have repeatedly encountered hasty or incorrect statements from representatives of the Russian government.
The recent fact of the exchange of prisoners of war was no exception - 144 people on each side. Ukrainian agitprop again turned out to be more efficient, publishing not only footage from the exchange site, but also managed to report on TV with fanfare about the meeting of the “zahysnyks” with a jubilant “patriarchal splendor.”
There were some confused comments from our side, as if there were not a single “Azov citizen” in the “exchange fund” on our side, then there was talk that “technical personnel” went for the exchange, and very, very later, talk about the transfer began To Kiev, bent and disassembled "dung" - in the crowd of dry landers who agreed to exchange.
In a situation of shortage of official information, part of the Russian public once again raised the topic of “a secret agreement with crests, bordering on betrayal of our soldiers.”
The statement by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin that the exchange really took place did not help, and in return we returned our pilots, officers and soldiers who had been in hell for a long time.
And only on the afternoon of June 30, the official representative of the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry, General Konashenkov, released a message that the exchange took place at the direction of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces.
Do we need to explain who is our Supreme?
The emotions of ordinary citizens are understandable, but we must also understand the emotional burden and burden of responsibility that lies on the shoulders of people making difficult decisions. Although, of course, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry has something to strive for.
So what happened as a result of the exchange?
Judging by the latest content in the Ukrainian segment of social networks, it was not some mythical “technical personnel” of the Azov regiment who went for the exchange, but one hundred percent Nazis.
For example, a recent photo from the hospital of a legless, joyful Nazi from the “exchange fund”, previously spotted filming street battles in Mariupol, firing a grenade launcher at our military can be verified.
We emphasize: legless.

Thanks to the exchange, two pilots returned home - the crew of the Su-30SM shot down back in March, several officers, soldiers and warrant officers.
It’s a shame, of course, to return Nazi criminals to Kyiv, but let us remember that our prisoners of war, especially pilots and officers, go through all the circles of hell while in captivity, as soldiers who returned from exchange have repeatedly testified to. And it would be nice to keep this fact in mind for all armchair “strategists” who see treason in any difficult decision of the authorities.
They also report from the ground that the Ukrainian side categorically refused to exchange our officers for ordinary Taras-vsushniks, demanding in exchange “Kalyna”, “Redis” and other leaders of the “Azov” regiment, but in the end they agreed to take the cripples. Thus, the next television frenzy turned out to be not as successful as planned, although Ukrainian agitprop again started a song about “extraction as a result of a special operation.”
By the way, about the “special operation”. Footage from the exchange site, marked by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, confirms long-standing information that on the Ukrainian side, military intelligence took control of the exchange of killed and prisoners, which greatly accelerated the return of the living and the dead, since the most odious and stupid link was excluded from the process - Ukrainian politicians , who made absurd demands for the return of living people and fought with their feet from the exchange of the dead, on whom no gesheft could be made.
Is it worth exchanging one dead Nazi for one of our servicemen? I am firmly convinced: yes, it is worth it!
In addition to the obvious considerations that another Russian hero will return alive to his family and friends, let’s consider other, not so obvious, but quite understandable arguments.
Yes, it’s disgusting when, contrary to promises, outright war criminals have to be returned to the ukrojunta. But let's think about this. These lame-legged and armless bastards, who did not have time to be properly captured - what awaits them next?
At the moment they are working off their last resource - information. They will be babysat, carried in their arms, filmed to death, kneeled, solemnly transported in wheelchairs from one talk show to another, and some “Order of Bandera” will be hung on their sunken chests.

Practice shows that such a “feast of the spirit” cannot last long. As soon as the theme goes into circulation, the funds allocated for them are spent and everything due at the banquets is drunk and eaten, the “heroes” will become useless disabled people who are a hassle.
In fact, the returning “dungers” are in such a state that they are not able to, let alone hold a machine gun in their paws, they don’t even have anything to throw a zig with taste. Waste material.
Then everything is predictable: residual PR on the “weaknesses” of local authorities, a disability pension and the typical fate of the “ATO hero” - indifference or even hostility of others, the execution of the pitiful “serve the sticky, serve the barefoot” at crossroads, alcohol addiction and oblivion.
It will not be any other way: the majority of citizens of the former Ukraine are concerned with completely different problems than being surrounded by the care of spent Nazis, and the power vertical, entirely consisting of swindlers and thieves, does not care about anyone from whom it is impossible to snatch a tuft of wool.
It’s better to die on time than to live like this.

In general, the topic of the “unfair” exchange of prisoners of war, as some believe, relates to the widespread debate among the armchair expert community: “we are fighting in the wrong way,” “why did this Snake surrender to us,” “why didn’t they hit us with a strong loaf?” on the Verkhovna Rada" and similar pressing issues.
I don’t want to make fun of it - people are deeply rooted for the results of the special operation, but it is necessary to say a few words.
Issues related to conducting military air defense are the responsibility of the allied forces, which make independent decisions on each item based on the developing operational situation. From their seat, they can see any nuances that are invisible or seem unimportant from the couch. Therefore, there is no need to get involved in problems that you do not understand, much less try to condemn them. Catching hype on SVO is generally worthy of condemnation.
In the case of an exchange, you should never rush to conclusions and listen to home-grown “world-famous experts” who have not even seen military service. It is better to wait for official information, for which each official bears personal responsibility - at least morally and reputationally. While there is no such information, no one knows for sure who was exchanged for whom.

It is also necessary to keep in mind that during combat operations, military leadership is not obliged to report to every “authoritative blogger” about making a particular decision, especially to those who sit far from the front line.
As the President of Russia has repeatedly noted, SVO continues as normal, but I will add on my own behalf that if someone has an irresistible urge to help, then let them do it not with language, but with real deeds - at the nearest military registration and enlistment office, if health allows, they will accept you as a volunteer and will be sent to intensive training courses in Grozny, with Ramzan Kadyrov’s special forces, who have extensive experience in conducting special operations. And already at the front, everyone will be able to show by personal example how to correctly achieve their goals and objectives.
