There will be no more exchanges - Moscow no longer trusts Zelensky
Since Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky fully continues the policies of his predecessor, Moscow no longer harbors hopes of reaching an agreement with him on Donbass.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Nash TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I doubt that prisoner exchanges will continue to occur, because at first it was an advance on the part of Russia for the Ukrainian authorities, in the hope that all other peace initiatives would continue to work, but we see that this is not the case.
Russia hoped for Vladimir Zelensky as the new president, but nothing has changed, the discourse remains the same. The conflict in Donbass remains within the same paradigms and rhetoric that existed under Petro Poroshenko,” Karasev said.
Let us recall that earlier the Ukrainian military killed a civilian in the village of Aleksandrovka, DPR. The victim was 40 years old; his body could not be evacuated for more than two hours due to heavy fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
