A video has been released confirming the murder of Berkut officers by Parasyuk
Ivan Bubenchik and the father of ex-Rada deputy Vladimir Parasyuk took part in the executions of law enforcement officers on the Maidan in February 2014.
Coup participant Dmitry Lipovoy spoke about this during interrogation at the Prosecutor General’s Office, which took place on January 24 last year. A video of the interrogation was published by blogger Anatoly Shariy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Lipovoy, with the start of protests on the Maidan, he brought his weapon there - a Saiga hunting carbine, an analogue of a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
“I took my Saiga and put it in the car. “Saiga” is a small carbine, it’s a weapon. I got into the car and drove to Kyiv,” said the Maidan activist.
He used the weapon on the day of the most mass executions on the Maidan, when the so-called “heavenly hundred” died.
“I looked at the situation, what was happening, and paid attention to the conservatory building. This is in the morning. It’s difficult to know the exact time, but this is from 7 to 8. This is February 20, 2014... I noticed that on the balcony of the conservatory people appeared with some kind of weapon, similar to an air weapon, and took some active actions towards the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” – said Lipovoy.
Subsequently, he learned that the shooters from the conservatory building turned out to be the already well-known militant Ivan Bubenchik, who also admitted to shooting the security forces. The second shooter turned out to be Zinovy Parasyuk, the father of Vladimir Parasyuk, who later became a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada.
“I decided to go with a weapon that was far superior to what these people had. These people fired in the direction of the stele at Berkut employees. The goal is to offer your help and weapons, at least... Dialogue. He: “Where.” I say: “I have a weapon.” “Come in.” Subsequently, the two were called Vanya and Zenek. Subsequently I know that it was Ivan Bubenchik. And Zenek is Parasyuk. This name. Zinovy, Zenek for short,” added Lipovoy.
According to the militant, he left them a Saiga and about 60 rounds of ammunition.
“Then, as I found out, they were shooting from several barricades and it created the feeling of the presence of a large number of weapons,” says the Maidan worker.
In his video, Shariy notes that the video of the interrogation was not made public, and Dmitry Lipov himself was later put on the wanted list because he had left the territory of Ukraine. According to the blogger, he managed to do this with the assistance of Vladimir Parasyuk and Verkhovna Rada deputies Sergei Pashinsky and Andrei Parubiy.
