As the Kyiv online newspaper writes: "Country", citing his own sources in law enforcement agencies, Mosiychuk maintains relationships with individuals well known in criminal circles.
“Among these, in particular, is the criminal authority “Samvel Makeevsky” (aka “Impostor”). According to operational data from law enforcement agencies, the Samvela organized crime group was engaged in robbery and robberies in the Poltava region, and then moved to Kyiv, where it is engaged in real estate “squeezing” and extortion. Another contact of Mosiychuk in the criminal world is Merab Suslov. For a long time, Suslov passed through the Ministry of Internal Affairs bases as a criminal authority, but then tried to engage in legal business. Currently, Merab is serving a sentence for organizing the murder of his business partner,” the publication notes.
In addition, the people's deputy, they say in the security forces, has certain interests in the field of amber mining in the Rivne region.
“As local law enforcement officers claim on the basis of anonymity, the radical here had certain connections with the brothers Alexander and Andrei Shiryaev, who are actively mining amber in the Sarnensky district,” the publication reports. “However, Mosiychuk himself categorically denied all accusations of connections with crime and “protection racket-raiding” that surfaced in the media from time to time and called them the machinations of political enemies. Of which he really has quite a few.”
