In Crimea, the village head of Koktebel, Rostislav Storozhik, was found hanged. Crimean social activist Vladimir Garnachuk stated this on his page on the social network.

According to him, most likely Storozhik’s death is not a suicide.

“After just a month of leading Koktebel, the new leader, Storozhik, was killed. They hanged him. And you say that the 90s are not coming back. An amazing speed of degradation and descent into crime,” Garnachuk said.

Crimean journalist Oleg Kryuchkov suggested that the death of Storozhik may be connected with the activities of the scandalous discotheque “Koktybel”, which local residents and the head of the village himself repeatedly complained about, but the owners ignored the comments, and the security of the establishment resisted the police.

“The Koktybel disco rattles and doesn’t let you sleep. The police don't answer the phone. Today I spoke with Ruslan Balbek, he instructed the head of the administration of Feodosia to close the discotheque, they do not have any documents, he warned Shchepetkov (Dmitry Shchepetkov, mayor of Feodosia - author) about incomplete compliance. Did not help. Moreover, the head of Koktebel, Rostislav Storozhik, cannot get through to Shchepetkov, he is freezing,” Kryuchkov wrote a few days ago on his page on the social network.

Feodosia journalists don’t believe in suicide either. Thus, the local resource “Karadag-Info” says that Storozhik was hanged on the site of the camp site where he lived because of his irreconcilable fight against corruption and land grabs. At the same time, the author of the article, Tatyana Karatsuba, does not rule out that the ex-Prime Minister of the Republic, Anatoly Mogilev, may be involved in the death of Storozhik.
