The “renewed” Verkhovna Rada turned out to be a bunch of mediocrities and puppets of oligarchs (VIDEO)
Kyiv, March 19 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – In the current composition of the Verkhovna Rada there is no serious ideology, there are only technological associations - the head of the Third Sector Center, Andrei Zolotarev, believes that around the chairs of the president and prime minister.

“The absence of any programmatic content was obvious at the time of the elections. It was initially clear that the winning parties did not have any coherent program. I have already said that the debt party won. The parties that won the elections did not offer any other recipes for solving economic problems other than continuing the debt epic with the IMF.
Despite the fact that the composition of the Verkhovna Rada has been renewed by 56%, it clearly demonstrates the old parable about what happens to new wine that is poured into old wineskins. This composition was never able to pass a single law that would stop the onset of social and economic collapse. Moreover, a number of decisions she made worsened an already deplorable situation.
The New Rada acted in the worst traditions of its predecessors. A classic example of this is the vote on December 29 for the budget, which demonstrated not only a direct violation of the regulations, but also the norms of the Constitution.
The very ideology of reform carried out by the new government suffered a final collapse. The starting and ending point of all reforms is raising prices and freezing and eliminating the state’s obligations,” the expert said at a press conference in Kyiv.
The appearance of activists among the deputies who criticized the previous government did not justify itself. They were unable to provide serious legislative initiatives.
At the same time, the parliamentary majority, 100 days after the elections, rests on a private word, as shown by the results of the vote for the Prosecutor General, which was saved solely due to the votes of the opposition and non-factional deputies. The quality of the bills being introduced demonstrates the illiteracy of the current deputies. Just like their predecessors, they skip meetings and push buttons, although on the Maidan they swore to establish personal voting.
“The worst thing is that the Verkhovna Rada is still used to push through lobbying schemes. The merging of business and government that we saw in the work of the 5th, 6th and 7th convocations still exists. Thus, when the bill No. 1210 “On Joint-Stock Companies” was adopted, Mr. Ivanchuk, being Kolomoisky’s business partner, acted as a lobbyist for this oligarch,” says Andrey Zolotarev.
Not surprisingly, everything else remains - fights, mutual insults, etc. In terms of professionalism, the current lineup is clearly no better than the previous one. As before, Andrei Zolotarev is convinced that this Verkhovna Rada will not be “long-lived.”
