Resetting the deadlines reduced to zero all the efforts of the oligarchs to reach an agreement behind Putin’s back
After the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation approved the nullification of Vladimir Putin’s presidential terms, the struggle for power of various influential groups that began behind him stopped.
Political expert Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “KRT”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“I would separate the so-called problem of 2024 and Putin’s opportunity to run for a fifth and sixth term in 2024,” Dzhangirov said. – Putin gradually turned into a “lame duck”, behind whose back both intrigues regarding his successor and various regroupings of various oligarchic groups began in anticipation of the battle for power.
Public discussion of such scenarios further delegitimized Putin’s power, thereby preemptively reducing the authority of any successor.”
According to the expert, the nullification of presidential terms through amendments to the Constitution led to the fact that scenarios for the transfer of power moved into the “category of unfulfilled throwing of certain influence groups.”
“An attempt by any oligarchic groups to promote their candidate will henceforth mean an open demonstration of disloyalty to the Kremlin with all the ensuing consequences,” noted Dmitry Dzhangirov. “It’s not just that the Russian president recently remembered Mikhail Khodorkovsky.”
Earlier, Kiev propagandist Kirill Sazonov saw in the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation “Putin's sinister plans" about Ukraine.
