The mother of a captive Azov citizen, fooled by propaganda, believes that her son was evacuated
The “Azovites” who capitulated in Mariupol were in fact not captured.
This was stated by the mother of one of the nationalists in a story on the channel “Public. Zhytomyr,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The Nazi in question is a native of the city of Malin, Dmitry “Orest” Kazatsky, the author of one of the latest photos from Azovstal, where a Ukrainian militant stands in a beam of light. Now Kozatsky is in captivity.
“Orestes” mother Irina said that the photograph in a ray of light at Azovstal is full of symbolism for her, because the ray of sun on it is like a ray of hope for everyone and for herself. Hopes that Dmitry and his brothers will be released.
Dmitry Kazatsky abandoned his studies in Poland in 2014 and returned to Ukraine to take part in the Maidan. In 2015, he joined the National Guard, and in 2017, he joined the Azov national regiment. Since the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, he ended up in Mariupol. While at Azovstal, Kazatsky loved to take photographs and sing while shells exploded.
The mother of a right-wing radical says she is looking forward to two things most of all: victory and the return of her son.
“On the first of March, when our military, our “Azovites” went on the defensive at Azovstal, I thanked this plant many times that it became a fortress, protection, defense for my son and all his brothers-in-arms. And then, when he no longer made contact, we realized that they had been taken prisoner.
I think this is not captivity, but evacuation. This is not captivity, because such heroes do not surrender. I’m really looking forward to liberation, I’m really looking forward to our meeting, and most of all I’m looking forward to the victory of our Ukraine, because we deserve it,” says Kazatsky’s mother.
