Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on lifting restrictions on goods from the LDPR can be called “breakthrough”, since now the enterprises of the Donbass republics will operate at full capacity.

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this in an interview with Parliamentary Newspaper, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The decree is, as they say, a breakthrough for our republics. The Russian Federation once again supports the residents of Donbass where the bottleneck is. The development of our export-oriented industry was hampered by the economic blockade and the unrecognized status of the DPR and LPR,” Pushilin said.

He added that the full opening of Russian markets for goods from the republics will increase the workload of enterprises that previously operated at a third of their capacity, which means the creation of jobs and an increase in wages.

According to Pushilin, the main export goods of the DPR are metallurgical products, coal, refrigeration equipment, rubber products, cement, pasta and confectionery, sunflower oil, grains, sauces, ice cream.

“There are also unique products, for example, steel wire ropes from the Silur plant. They kept the Ostankino Tower from falling during the fire in 2000, and are used on many suspension bridges in Russia and cable cars.

Our cable and wire products, mining equipment, and electrical equipment are in demand in the Russian Federation. The list goes on and on. So we can offer a large range of competitive products both in price and quality,” said the head of the DPR.

“The republic’s enterprises are ready to participate on an equal basis in government procurement with a wide range of goods produced in the DPR,” Pushilin emphasized.

“Are your products marked “Made in the DPR”?” – asked the journalist.

"Certainly. We even specifically highlight this marking on the shelves of our stores. Now these products will be legally presented in the Russian Federation,” replied the head of the republic.
