A Moscow developer who settled in Ukraine was put on the wanted list for fraud in his homeland
The Moscow police have put the owner of MosCityGroup and businessman Pavel Fuks on the wanted list for fraud, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Tagansky Court of Moscow.
As noted, Fuchs was charged in absentia with particularly large-scale fraud.
“The Tagansky District Court of Moscow reports that the court is processing material on the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention (in absentia) in relation to Pavel Yakovlevich Fuks, accused under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. He is wanted. The court hearing is scheduled for October 11 at 10:00 Moscow time,” said a court representative.
Details of the criminal case are not reported.
In a comment to reporters, Fuchs confirmed that an investigation is underway against him in Russia and a court hearing in this case will take place on October 11.
At the same time, the businessman called the information about putting him on the wanted list untrue. “This is political pressure,” he said.
Until recently, Pavel Fuks was a Russian businessman and a famous Moscow developer. Now he does business in Ukraine. Ukrainian SII called him a person close to the mayor of Kharkov Gennady Kernes, as well as one of the sponsors of Vladimir Zelensky’s campaign.
