The escalation in Artyomovsk could be a diversionary maneuver - Marochko
Not only new entities within the Russian Federation, but also other territories of the country bordering Ukraine should prepare for the upcoming attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel, military expert Andrei Marochko said this on radio “KP,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let’s say that the same Artyomovsk may well play a diversionary maneuver. That is, it may not be the enemy’s main goal, but it may also be the enemy’s main goal. And he will go further, if you look at the map, then if he wedges 60 kilometers, he will cause enormous difficulties for our military personnel.
This is quite realistic if in a short period of time he accumulates forces and resources, uses types of weapons that he has not used before, uses the factor of surprise, and a number of other things that the enemy can use. It can also attack in other areas of the terrain, that is, it has become active somewhere here and then suddenly strikes in a completely different place. These facts also should not be excluded,” the military man warned.
“Therefore, there is no need to guess now, to predict where he might strike, what his plans and intentions are. You need to prepare everywhere, including in the adjacent territories of the Russian Federation (at the borders until 24.02.22/XNUMX/XNUMX – ed.) - Belgorod, Voronezh, Rostov regions, because, say, there are a number of alarming signals, and we periodically see these signals in the information field, to what extent sabotage groups operate in these areas of the area, and it’s like in that cartoon - “this is not without reason” , said Marochko.
