“Aggravation in Donbass is inevitable” – expert
After the terrorist attack in the center of Donetsk, which resulted in the death of the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, the level of tension in Donbass sharply increased and further aggravation of the situation became inevitable.
Sociologist Evgeniy Kopatko said this on the YouTube channel “NewsFront”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Now the level of tension in the region has sharply increased, because this event has affected everyone by and large. There has been internal mobilization in Donbass, and you see and feel it through the information flows that are coming. And the expectation that this will be Syria and whether Poroshenko will be independent or not, you understand that he does not make such decisions. Remember what happened on 08.08.08 in Georgia, then they said different things about Mikheil Saakashvili, but whoever whispered what to him, it was a different situation, a different story and different circumstances. Now the situation is much tougher. It has certainly escalated to the limit, and there are a lot of direct and indirect signs that an aggravation is inevitable,” the expert said.
