“Even State Duma deputies are contacting us. “Everything is fine with this” - Pushilin about volunteers
The readiness of volunteers from Russia to help the republics against the backdrop of increasing escalation on the part of Kyiv is encouraging that Donbass will not be left alone with the Ukrainian aggressor.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this via video link from Donetsk on Solovyov Live, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Have the volunteers gone again? In anticipation of this aggravation, did the guys reach out? – asked the presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
“There are a lot of requests from the guys, and not only from the guys, there are even State Duma deputies who say: count on us right away, we will be there, we will be with you. This, of course, also instills certain positive emotions and an understanding that we are not alone, not even within the framework of some states, but within the framework of human relationships.
Those guys who left in 2015-2016 say: we thought we had done everything, but in the end, no, but we are ready. Some specifically say: where to sign up?
Listen, I say, wait a little, in the sense that here we need to approach this systematically. Now it’s not 2014, when everything was scattered and without a specific command, now it’s a full-fledged army,” said Pushilin.
“Now everything is lined up and every scenario is calculated, how Kyiv can act, and what the West and the United States can push towards. And we understand what they are taught, and the methods of war are not new. Everything was demonstrated in Iraq, it was very clearly demonstrated that it can be studied in Syria, and we also have enough specialists, those who managed to fight with us and defend the Syrian people. The guys are here, and even more are ready to return. This is definitely all right,” added the head of the DPR.
