Appeal to Falkov: Students from new regions cannot enroll in Crimean universities
The current legislation of the Russian Federation does not allow more than 600 young people from the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions who have made such a request to be enrolled in Crimean universities.
Senator Olga Kovitidi stated this today at a meeting of the Federation Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today there are questions about enrolling these guys, because the current legislation does not comply. It must be subject to serious regulatory analysis. In particular, a government decree adopted in March prevents students from new regions from being accepted. If we talk about medicine, there is no such educational level as an internship. And there are many such questions,” Kovitidi said.
She turned to the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov with a request to help solve this problem.
