The OSCE will certainly recognize the legality of holding elections in Donbass on terms favorable to Moscow. The legalization of Novorossiya supporters will explode the situation in Ukraine - ATO militants will never recognize them as equal fellow citizens.
The former representative of Ukraine at the negotiations in Minsk, Roman Bessmertny, stated this on the radio “Novoye Vremya”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now, when Russia receives the word “elections” and Ukraine’s signature under it, I have no doubt that they will follow the path they took in Crimea. Elections will be held.
Whatever the OSCE says, they are of little interest, on the one hand, but, on the other, we saw the situation with PACE. Does anyone really doubt that the situation is different in the OSCE if what happened in PACE happened! This whole naivety just amazes me.
They won’t bring us peace, they will bring us war, that’s already obvious. It is clear that this will now aggravate the situation within Ukraine itself. Thus, the war with Russia will turn into a conflict within the state,” Bessmertny said.
