Kyiv, February 09 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The OSCE was unable to confirm the presence of Russian regular troops in Donbass.

The speaker of the Special Monitoring Mission in Donbass, Michael Botsyurkiw, spoke about this in an interview with the Kyiv weekly Korrespondent, answering the question whether Russian military personnel were recorded by observers in the ATO zone.

“It is not always possible for us to determine the origin of these military groups and military equipment,” said the OSCE representative. – We indicate in our reports what we see and do not speculate on facts. We simply record what is happening, report on the details - what types of weapons, what form. We have already reported on the movement of columns of military equipment without identification marks.

In Lugansk, observers saw groups of people in camouflage with the Russian flag on their chevrons. However, there was no troop emblem.”
