The OSCE demanded that Kyiv stop attacks on journalists

This is stated in a statement by the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Press, Harlem Désir, published by on the website of the organization.
“Sheremet’s death reminds us that the safety of journalists must be a priority in Ukraine and elsewhere,” Désir said.
“I call on the authorities to protect media freedom by ensuring effective investigations and thereby preventing the fear and self-censorship that such attacks fuel”!, the OSCE representative emphasized.
According to him, Sheremet “was an outstanding journalist and a role model for the young journalists he trained.”
“What is the message today, a year after his murder, for the future of media in Ukraine? This crime cannot remain unsolved,” said Désir.
At the same time, in the administration of President Poroshenko, as PolitNavigator reported, demanded from the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine look for the “hand of the Kremlin” in the editorial offices, and not protect journalists.
