The OSCE recorded attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to jam surveillance drones
Observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission recorded in their report an attempt to suppress the mission’s UAV signal using electronic warfare means of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov announced this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that the Ukrainian command continues to impede the work of the OSCE Mission in Donbass in order to conceal heavy weapons located outside designated areas in violation of the Minsk agreements.
“These facts are regularly reflected in the Mission’s reports. In particular, in addition to regular bans on the entry of OSCE patrol vehicles into areas where heavy weapons are concentrated, Ukrainian militants continue to make attempts to suppress OSCE drones. Thus, on April 13, the forces of a mobile electronic warfare group of Ukrainian Armed Forces units suppressed the GPS signal of a long-range SMM UAV, which is also confirmed by the report of the OSCE mission,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
