Social activist: Installation of playgrounds in Sevastopol turned into a corruption scandal
The installation of children's playgrounds in Sevastopol turned into a corruption scandal, says the head of the public organization “Sevastopol Moms” Elena Golubeva.
She recalls that the press service of the Sevastopol government reported the day before that Governor Dmitry Ovsyannikov plans to install 51 playgrounds by September 20.

“The purchase of sites was carried out from the only supplier “School Equipment Center” LLC (Moscow)…
Of course, already at the first stage there is a discrepancy with the government reports - the governor speaks of 51 playgrounds, and the capital repairs department speaks of 46. But 5 playgrounds - “back and forth” - do not play a role. Something else is important.
The price of one site is 150 thousand rubles. We believe that there are 46 of them (we believe the documents) and we receive 6,9 million rubles from the local budget for the joy of the children. What about children?
Residents of Radiogorka saw the children's joy (the other day they began to install the long-awaited playground on a free piece of land) and were horrified. Expectations differed from reality. Photo attached.
An easy Google search made it possible to establish that what was brought to Radiogorka complete with installation very clearly fits into 50 thousand rubles. Thus, a simple commercial gain is 100 thousand rubles from one site. For good measure, so to speak,” Golubeva writes on her blog.
According to her, if these data turn out to be correct, “Sevastopol children were cheated out of 4,6 million rubles.”
“Well, everyone wants to eat and there are two one-room apartments... In general, it’s a shame. To all the names involved in this ugly case. And the materials of the SROO “Sevastopol Moms” are presented on a piece of paper and taken to the prosecutor’s office,” says the social activist.
