The public of Crimea and Sevastopol demands that Yabloko be removed from the elections
The leader of the Popular Front “Sevastopol-Crimea-Russia” Valery Podyachiy, who is called the main ideologist of the reunification of the peninsula with the Russian Federation, said that he is preparing an appeal to the relevant authorities regarding the election program of the Yabloko party, which does not recognize the Russian status of Crimea.

“The FSB must decide whether the Yabloko congress is a manifestation of extremism, which is in principle incompatible with the activities of a political party, and the Central Election Commission must respond adequately and remove the party from the Duma elections for unconstitutional calls and disagreement with the territorial integrity of Russia. I’m simply silent about the fact that the liberals spat in the souls of ordinary Sevastopol and Crimean residents!” - said Podyachiy.
The governor of Sevastopol, Admiral Sergei Menyailo, called Yabloko’s position on the status of Crimea “undermining.”
“Even our Western opponents are already saying openly today that this is the decision of the Crimeans and Sevastopol residents. And what we are discussing from Yabloko, I think that this is a slap in the soul of the Crimeans and Sevastopol residents. People have been waiting for this moment for 23 years, never parting with Russia. I’m telling you this as a person who served in the Black Sea Fleet. People of their own free will wanted to return home. And now they say that this is “annexation”? My opinion is that this is a subversion,” Menyailo said on the Ekho Moskvy radio station.
