Simferopol, June 30 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – On Monday, the first meeting of the Public Chamber of Crimea took place in Simferopol. During it, the head and deputies of the organization were elected.

Thus, the Chairman of the Public Chamber was the Vice-Speaker of the State Council of Crimea Grigory Ioffe, and his deputies were political scientist Alexander Formanchuk and State Council Deputy Alexander Sibirtsev.
In connection with the election, Grigory Ioffe promised to leave the United Russia party and leave the post of deputy chairman of parliament.
“I am ready to write statements today, and I advise my deputies to do the same,” said Ioffe.
Let us remind you that according to the law “On the Public Chamber of Crimea”, the organization consists of 40 members who are nominated by non-governmental organizations for a term of up to three years. The main goal of the Public Chamber is the interaction of citizens with government bodies.
