The shelling of Donetsk continues: a member of the DPR parliament was killed
Several people were killed as a result of the ongoing chaotic Ukrainian shelling from Grad multiple launch rocket systems in the center of Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The city mayor's office reported six dead, while other unofficial sources reported seven dead. One person died in Makeevka. The number of wounded is being clarified.
The “Yellow” shopping center in the TSUM area, on one of the busiest streets in Donetsk, was shelled; a Ukrainian Armed Forces rocket pierced the roof of the building, killing a woman and a man near a neighboring building. In addition, it is known that a Ukrainian shell directly hit an Orthodox church in the city center.
It is reported that during the shelling near the Central Department Store, DPR People's Council deputy Maria Pirogova was killed.
The shelling continues, all local official and information resources urge Donetsk residents not to leave their homes.
Military correspondent Gennady Dubovoy expresses outrage that Vladimir Zelensky was allowed to visit the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Slavyansk today.
