The shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces left the DPR without communication from MTS Ukraine for five hours
The Armed Forces of Ukraine, for the purpose of information blockade, committed sabotage on the communication line of a mobile operator operating on the territory of the DPR.

“According to DPR intelligence, Ukrainian security forces made another attempt to informationally isolate the People’s Republics, for which purpose they carried out sabotage on the communication line of the cellular operator MTS Ukraine in the area of the city of Slavyansk,” the defense department of the Republic reported.
At the moment, communications are operational throughout the Republic. In total, there was no communication in the Republic for five hours.
“We can confirm that MTS is operating again on the territory of the Republic, repair work has been completed,” said Minister of Communications Viktor Yatsenko.
