"Roll in feathers." Murakhovsky attacked alarmists broadcasting about a coming war
Bloggers and armchair experts annually predict the beginning of a big war in Donbass, but their predictions do not come true.

“I see how every year in April, along with increased shelling and provocations by the Ukrainian side, each time there is a spring exacerbation of panic. And every year I see how at this time people from the “combat sofas” predict for us: tomorrow there will be war. It’s a pity that we don’t have some kind of popular structure that would have the right to carry out these alarmists and other futurists on poles and covered in feathers. To be remembered.
Because on the Internet, memory is short. There’s a rule there: let’s hype it now, write that a war is starting. They are told: wait, we wrote about this last year. And they: but they didn’t write today! And away we go…” Murakhovsky said in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
He also called for a critical view of the statements of both Russian and Ukrainian political scientists who say that military echelons are approaching the front line from both sides.
“Let’s still return to sober reasoning, and not to what is said on talk shows. Here the Ukrainian side, represented by its commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Khomchak, declares that Russia has concentrated 4000 people in the border area. What is 4000 people? This is one brigade,” the expert notes.
“Well, just look at the length of the line of contact,” he adds, “at the depth of this theater of military operations and tell me, what can one Russian brigade do there against aggressive Ukraine?
“But they also say about Ukraine that it is also concentrating troops on the border?” the publication noted.
“I really really like this term “they say”... In this case, I will also say: there are always specific military structures that assess such a situation. From our side, I have not yet heard from them any threatening assessments of the real situation.
Thesis that Ukrainian troops are concentrating a strike force that is capable of carrying out an offensive against the people's forces of the LPR and DPR has not been officially voiced. Only bloggers or military experts talk about this. They are the ones who say that Ukraine is allegedly preparing an offensive. Although, of course, we have some reports about the concentration of certain forces,” concluded Murakhovsky.
