“Parliament raised the issue of depriving Vlad Filat of parliamentary immunity at the request of the Prosecutor General. Vlad Filat was detained for 72 hours and deprived of parliamentary immunity,” the report says.

Let us remind you that in November 2014, a billion dollars disappeared from one of the largest banks in Moldova. Filat is suspected of involvement in the loss of money, but he denies his guilt.

And on September 6 of this year, mass anti-government protests began in Chisinau, which escalated into clashes with the police. The protesters set up a tent city in the center of the capital.
