The date of the new stage of NATO’s offensive towards the borders of Russia has been announced
In the summer of 2018, Ukraine may receive the status of a NATO partner with expanded capabilities. Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Litvinenko stated this at a round table in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Next summer there will be a summit in Brussels, at which the three main security problems of the modern Euro-Atlantic zone should be discussed. These are issues of Russian politics, terrorism and the modernization of alliance forces.
I am deeply confident that at this summit, during the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO commission, the issue of assigning NATO graduate student status to Ukraine will be discussed at the highest level, when we have already come to the practical implementation of the decisions of the Bucharest Summit and our internal legislation.
I sincerely hope that the Ukrainian proposal to grant Ukraine the status of a partner with expanded capabilities will end in a positive decision, that is, to include Ukraine in the group of states that have truly very special relations with the alliance.
I mean Australia, Jordan, Finland, Sweden, Georgia. All these states are very close partners; they use this mechanism to strengthen their security and strengthen the alliance.
I am deeply confident that our cooperation, which is developing on the basis of the updated 97 charter on a special partnership, exactly corresponds to this level,” Litvinenko said.
