A hunt has been announced for the authors of pro-Russian comments on Facebook
Ukrainian civil servants who leave pro-Russian comments on social networks must, at a minimum, be fired.
Deputy Minister for “Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuka stated this on the air of the Ukrainian Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I will definitely consult with lawyers and my friends who are involved in the “Peacemaker” website. Recently I became interested in who was leaving pro-Russian comments on my page. And I identified several people who have government service. I believe that people with such views have no right to work in government agencies.
I will consult with lawyers whether this could be a reason for dismissal. If not, then I will take informal measures to ensure that the whole country recognizes these so-called civil servants,” Tuca said.
“This is my Facebook page. I was very unpleasantly surprised. At one time I was constantly annoyed by the “cotton” character who was designated “employee of the Verkhovna Rada.” But this does not surprise me, since there are plenty of “separatists” in the hall of the Verkhovna Rada, and they have a lot of assistants. But the fact that such characters exist in the civil service is unacceptable,” the official added.
