It was agreed to intensify relevant interdepartmental consultations and explore the possibility of holding a meeting at the highest level in the near future,” the Kremlin press service said in a statement.
In turn, a representative of the Erdogan administration, Fahrettin Altun, said that the presidents of the two countries had reached an agreement on a bilateral meeting in the very near future.
“During President Erdogan’s conversation with Putin, it was decided that both leaders would meet face to face as soon as possible,” Altun said.
