The authorities of the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region announced preparations for a referendum on reunification with Russia.
The head of the Zaporizhzhya VGA, Evgeniy Balitsky, stated this at the forum of the “We are together with Russia” movement, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the resolution was unanimously supported by the participants of the forum, which was attended by more than 700 delegates.
“I have signed an order to the Central Election Commission of the Zaporozhye region to begin working on the issue of organizing a referendum on the reunification of the Zaporozhye region with the Russian Federation,” Balitsky said in his blog.
