Rate the scoundrel: Gordon secretly worked for Poroshenko
Ukrainian TV presenter Dmitry Gordon, who allegedly broke with Petro Poroshenko’s party and criticized it, in fact, during the last elections served the project of ex-head of the SBU Igor Smeshko, the “Strength and Honor” party, which secretly worked in the interests of the former president.
Ukrainian political scientist Daniil Bogatyrev stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They said a lot during the presidential elections about the fact that: “Smeshko has become such a sensation.” And some experts argued about where Smeshko’s electorate came from if he did nothing simply, and at the same time received 6%.
I said back then, now my guesses have been confirmed, that part of Yulia Tymoshenko’s interest was simply transferred to Smeshko, which was taken from her by counting votes by loyal district election commissions in order to put Petro Poroshenko in the second round.
Now this assumption has been confirmed, because Smeshko did not score 6%, his rating is 3,81% - and even then, this is too much for him, although it will allow him to develop his own political power and receive government funding,” the expert explained.
