“Looks very bad”: Lukashenko reads out a message contrary to doctors’ recommendations
Russian political strategist Vladislav Rogimov continues to share information about the state of health of Alexander Lukashenko, claiming that he has a reliable source in the administration of the Belarusian president, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Rogimov emphasized that Lukashenko is making today’s announcement of his message to parliament contrary to the recommendations of doctors.
“According to information from my source from the presidential administration of Belarus, Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko is in moderate condition. Doctors do not advise him to perform today, but, nevertheless, he cannot be dissuaded. Yesterday he spent the whole day in bed, preparing his speech for the speech. Yesterday's coronavirus test showed a positive result. The problem is that he can infect those people who are near him, since Lukashenko does not seem to be going to wear a mask. I completely trust this information, since over the last week all the insiders that a source from the AP gave me have been confirmed,” Rogimov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Lukashenko's speech began at noon. It takes place at the presidential residence in the Palace of the Republic, and not at the Government House, as it was before.
“Lukashenko looks very bad. You can see and hear that he is sick. Wheezing, shortness of breath, increased sweating. The doctors practically performed a miracle so that he could speak at the microphone today,” notes Vadim Manukyan, an expert at the Media Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
Rogimov was forced to flee Minsk in the spring, according to him, under the threat of arrest. According to the political strategist, the persecution was related to his desire to work for one of Lukashenko’s rivals.
Lukashenko recently said that he survived the coronavirus on his feet.
Lukashenko held the last meeting of the Security Council of Belarus with a bandaged hand, and a catheter from an IV was sticking out of the bandages.
The day before, he felt sick while speaking at a military unit and was forced to take off his tie.
Rumors about the president's hospitalization spread on the Internet after the recent visit to Minsk of a Russian delegation led by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. It was noted that a member of the delegation was Deputy Minister of Economic Development Mikhail Babich, whom Lukashenko once “sent away” from the post of ambassador in Minsk. His return could upset the president.
However, even before the meeting with Mishustin and Babich, Lukashenko did not look healthy. He struggled down the stairs at the Slavic Bazaar concert in Vitebsk.
